Quencher - 2nd shift

Volt is immediately for a 2^nd Shift Quencher (Lathe Machine Operator) in Oxnard, CA

What You’ll Do:

• Inspect parts using gauges, micrometers, and other measuring tools
• Read and interpret blueprints and job specifications
• Set up and adjust machine controls, speeds, and tooling
• Operate lathe/turning machines and monitor production
• Select cutting tools based on material and specifications
• Load and secure materials using tools or equipment
• Maintain tolerance by adjusting tools and machine settings
• Replace or sharpen worn tools as needed
• Install fixtures and align tooling for accuracy

What We’re Looking For:

• High School Diploma or GED Required
• Math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, percentages).
• Machine operator- lathe
• Use precision measuring tools or equipment
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and instructions.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Shift: 2nd Shift 2:30 pm – 10:45pm, Monday–Friday, with possible Saturdays

Pay Rate: $18.00

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
