Volt is immediately hiring for an Inventory Analyst in San Diego, CA.
As an Inventory Analyst, you will:
- Maintain a high level of inventory across organization
- Oversee cycle counting activities, support MRB operations
- Analyze and investigate inventory discrepancies
- Generate reports to drive data informed decisions
- Ensure inventory integrity
- Plan and schedule cycle count programs
- Analyze inventory trends and reoccurring issues
- Coordinate with warehouse and production teams to resolve variances
- Develop and implement corrective actions to improve count
- Coordinate MRB processes by tracking, reporting and dispositioning non-conforming materials
- Coordinate with Global Supply Chain, Engineering and Production teams to ensure timely resolution
- Drive reduction of obsolete, excess and rejected materials
- Identify areas to enhance inventory processes and systems
- Participate in Lean / continuous improvement initiatives
This is a full-time opportunity in the San Diego office.
Schedule: Monday to Friday from 7am – 3:30pm plus overtime as needed.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 2 – 5 years of inventory control, materials management or supply chain
- Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, v look ups, etc)
- Baan 5C Erp preferred
- Superior communication skills
- Bachelor's degree preferred, not required
- Must be able to pass a background and drug screen.
Payrate: $39.00 Per Hour
