Responsibiliti
es:The EHS Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining programs that ensure a safe and environmentally compliant workplace. This role supports continuous improvement in health, safety, and environmental performance by identifying risks, conducting audits, and driving corrective actions, supporting training and required reporti
ng.
Duties/Responsibilit
- ies:Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA, Cal/OS
- HA).Support hazard communication program, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), chemical labeling, storage, and handling procedu
- res.Conduct risk assessments and job hazard analyses to identify and mitigate potential haza
- rds.Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses; track and ensure closure of corrective acti
- ons.Coordinate and conduct EHS training for employees and contract
- ors.Maintain and submit required environmental and safety reports and perm
- its.Monitor workplace conditions and conduct regular safety audits and inspecti
- ons.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into operations and proje
- cts.Support sustainability initiatives and waste reduction progr
- ams.Serve as the point of contact for regulatory agencies and emergency respo
nse.
Required Skills/Abili
- ties:Experience with EHS management systems and reporting t

Education and Exper
- ience:Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Engineering, or a related
- field.2–5 years of experience in an EHS role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial se
- tting.Certification such as CSP, CIH, or CHMM is a
plus.
