Material Handler| 1st & 2nd Shift

Volt is immediately hiring 1st and 2nd shift Material Handlers in Milpitas, CA. 

As a Material Handler, you will: 

• Works from requisition, order list or stock list to pull required items.
• Uses a checklist as items are pulled to ensure kit accuracy.
• Accumulates orders, reports shortages and transports completed orders to distribution point or staging area.
• Processes returned items and unscheduled issues.
• Compiles and maintains inventory of material received, stocked, and issued.
• Prepares requests for procurement of material.
• Lifts heavy items and may operate a pallet jack or forklift. 
• Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines. 
• Take inventory of stored items through cycle counting.
• May audit kits for accuracy.

Schedule: Monday - Friday OT

1st shift: 6am to 2:30pm - OT will be before shift

2nd shift: 2:30pm to 11pm - OT will be after shift - 10% shift premium

The ideal candidate will have:

• 1 of related experience
• Must be able to lift up to 40lbs
• Experience with inventory, Stockpiles and manufacturing lines
• Must be able to use an Electric Pallet Jack
• Must wear composite or steel toe boots

Payrate: $23.00 per hour - 2nd Shift earns 10% shift premium

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
