We are a growing St. Louis-based accounting and consulting firm serving primarily small businesses. We pride ourselves on providing responsive, professional service and building long-term relationships with our clients.
We are seeking a Client Service Coordinator to serve as a primary point of contact between our clients and accounting team. This position will play an important role in improving the overall client experience by ensuring communications are handled promptly, client information is organized and accessible, and requests are routed to the appropriate team members.
The ideal candidate is professional, organized, comfortable communicating by phone and email, and able to manage multiple client requests while maintaining close attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for incoming client phone calls, emails, and general inquiries
- Respond professionally and promptly to client communications
- Determine the nature and priority of client requests and coordinate with the appropriate accounting or consulting team member
- Monitor outstanding client requests and follow up with clients when documents, information, or approvals are needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client information within our CRM
- Use the CRM and other internal systems to locate client information and assist in responding to inquiries
- Document client communications, requests, and follow-up items
- Coordinate scheduling between clients and members of our accounting and consulting team
- Help ensure client questions and requests do not fall through the cracks
- Assist clients with submitting documents and information needed by our accounting team
- Communicate internally with accountants and other team members regarding client needs and outstanding items
- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive client, business, tax, and financial information
- Provide general administrative and client-service support as needed

Preferred Experience
The following experience is helpful but not necessarily required:
- Previous customer service, client service, administrative, or account coordination experience
- Experience working in an accounting firm, professional services firm, financial services company, or similar office environment
- Experience using CRM software
- Familiarity with QuickBooks Online or accounting terminology
- Experience working with small-business clients
Accounting experience is not required. This position is focused primarily on client communication, organization, coordination, and follow-through rather than performing accounting or tax work.
