Location: Warm Waters Beach, Carlsbad.
VBOS (Volleyball Oceanside) is one of North County San Diego's largest beach volleyball communities, bringing together hundreds of players through coaching, social events, tournaments, and community building. We're looking for an energetic, dependable coach to lead our programs while the owner is away and help continue growing the volleyball community.
This is more than a coaching job, it's an opportunity to lead an established beach volleyball program with a loyal and active community. You'll coach players of all skill levels, create an encouraging atmosphere, and represent the VBOS culture both on and off the court.
Responsibilities:
- Lead beginner, intermediate, and competitive beach volleyball classes.
- Provide high-quality instruction focused on skill development and game strategy.
- Create a fun, positive, and welcoming environment for all participants.
- Set up and break down equipment before and after classes.
- Assist with tournaments, clinics, and community events.
- Communicate professionally with members and help maintain strong community engagement.
- Represent the VBOS brand with professionalism and enthusiasm.
Qualifications
- Previous beach volleyball coaching or competitive playing experience.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Passion for helping players improve.
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
- Experience working with players of different ages and skill levels is preferred.
