The Housekeeper at Parish School Apartments plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all residents and visitors. This position ensures that all common areas, hallways, and individual units are thoroughly cleaned and well-maintained according to established standards. The housekeeper will contribute to the overall satisfaction of residents by performing detailed cleaning tasks efficiently and effectively. Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to speak, read, and write English to understand and follow instructions.
• Demonstrated manual dexterity and physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including reaching overhead and handling cleaning equipment.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage time effectively.
• Basic mathematical skills to measure and mix cleaning solutions accurately.
• Prior experience in housekeeping or janitorial services preferred but not mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in rental or leasing service environments.
• Knowledge of environmentally friendly cleaning products and practices.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces in apartments and common areas.
• Follow detailed oral and written instructions to ensure cleaning tasks meet the property’s standards and safety regulations.
• Manage floor care activities such as buffing, waxing, and spot cleaning to maintain floor appearance and durability.
• Reach overhead and other difficult-to-access areas to clean vents, light fixtures, and other surfaces as required.
• Use basic mathematical computations to measure cleaning solutions and supplies accurately.
• Communicate effectively in English to understand instructions and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
