Overview
We are supporting a leading global financial institution on a US Treasury clearing initiative, driven by upcoming regulatory changes and increased central clearing requirements.
They are looking for an experienced Repo / ISDA Negotiator to support high volumes of documentation and onboarding across a range of counterparties. This is a key role within a fast-paced, front-to-back programme working closely with legal, credit, risk, and trading teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Negotiate and review repo documentation including GMRA / MRA agreements with a variety of counterparties
- Support US Treasury clearing onboarding, ensuring documentation aligns with clearing requirements
- Negotiate ISDA Master Agreements, CSAs, and related collateral documentation where required
- Work closely with trading, credit, legal, and onboarding teams to facilitate timely execution
- Interpret and apply netting, collateral and regulatory requirements within documentation
- Manage high volumes of agreements within tight project timelines
- Support process improvements and contribute to documentation standardisation
Required Experience
- Strong experience negotiating repo agreements (GMRA / MRA)
- Proven background in ISDA Master Agreements and CSA negotiation
- Experience working within investment banks or major financial institutions
- Strong understanding of collateral, margining and netting frameworks
- Experience working with hedge funds, asset managers, and bank counterparties
- Ability to work in a high-volume, project-driven environment
Highly Desirable
- Experience supporting clearing initiatives (especially US Treasury clearing)
- Familiarity with cleared derivatives documentation (CDEA, FIA docs, etc.)
- Exposure to regulatory frameworks impacting repo/derivatives markets
- Experience working across front-to-back stakeholders
