Now Hiring - Daytime Dishwasher at Voleo's Seafood Restaurant
1360 4th St, Westwego, LA 70094
$12 an hour - 10:00am - 3:00 / 4:00pm Monday - Friday
(Willing to cover night time Dishwasher if needed.)
If need be Tuesday - Friday 4:00pm - 9:00pm may take an hour or so to finish cleaning remaining items (Expect to be done around 10:00 - 10:30 on a busy night
Saturday 4pm - 9:00pm (10-10:30pm)

This energetic position ensures that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized, supporting our chefs and food service staff in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will help uphold the highest standards of food safety and hospitality.
Duties
- Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and safety.
- Maintain organized dishwashing stations and ensure all items are stored properly for easy access.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as ingredient prep or basic assembly when needed, supporting the culinary team’s workflow.
- Support catering events or banquet setups by providing clean serving ware and assisting with basic food handling tasks.
- Follow proper cleaning procedures to uphold health standards, including waste disposal and sanitizing surfaces regularly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy service times.
- Adhere to food handling safety protocols and maintain a hygienic work environment at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued!
- Familiarity with food service operations, including bussing tables or assisting in food preparation, is a plus.
- Experience with banquet or large-scale catering events can be advantageous.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards is beneficial.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
