Position: Bartender
Volcano Japanese Cuisine is looking for an experienced, friendly, and dependable Bartender to join our team at our St. Augustine location.
We are looking for someone who provides excellent customer service, works well in a fast-paced restaurant environment, and can confidently prepare cocktails, beer, wine, sake, and other beverages.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, sake, and other beverages
- Provide friendly and attentive service to bar guests
- Take food and drink orders accurately
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar
- Prepare garnishes and complete opening/closing bar duties
- Monitor inventory and communicate low-stock items to management
- Follow responsible alcohol service and food safety procedures
- Work closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management
- Help create a fun and welcoming atmosphere for our guests
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience preferred
- Cocktail knowledge and ability to follow drink recipes
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, responsible, and punctual
- Able to multitask during busy shifts
- Comfortable working nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must meet Florida requirements for serving alcoholic beverages
