What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server position at Volcano Hotpot and Korean BBQ?
Support casual dining and quick-service operations by taking accurate orders, serving meals, processing payments, and creating a positive guest experience. The Server reports to the restaurant manager, shift supervisor, and general manager, with opportunities to grow into a Lead Server role.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and provide attentive, friendly service.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them to the kitchen.
- Serve meals promptly and address guest requests professionally.
- Use menu knowledge to answer questions and support upselling.
- Set, maintain, and clear tables to uphold dining area standards.
- Process payments accurately and handle cash as required.
- Coordinate with restaurant team members to support efficient service.
- Maintain order accuracy and contribute to a positive guest experience.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of restaurant service experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Food Handler Certification.
- Alcohol Service Certification.
- Experience with POS systems.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and menu offerings.
- Experience with cash handling and customer service.
- Strong communication and multitasking skills.
- Demonstrated attention to order accuracy.
