Key Responsibilities
As the Assistant Director of Nursing, you will play a crucial leadership role in supporting nursing operations and enhancing the delivery of resident care.

Provide clinical supervision to nursing staff as the designated day-shift supervisor

Coordinate and oversee in-service education and training across all departments

Monitor, track, and analyze incidents, accidents, and unusual occurrences
-
Assist with infection control and pressure injury prevention programs
-
Round on residents daily to ensure quality of care and responsiveness

Create and manage nursing and CNA schedules as assigned

Serve as a clinical resource and triage point for nursing staff

Cover RN shifts when necessary

Participate in the weekend on-call rotation

Support the Director of Nursing with daily operations and leadership initiatives
Qualifications

Must be a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with the State
-
BSN preferred, but not required

Knowledge of long-term care regulations, rehabilitative/restorative nursing practices, and standards of care

Prior clinical leadership experience in long-term care, hospital, or healthcare setting required
