Volare Health is seeking an experienced and compassionate Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to lead the daily operations of one of our skilled nursing facilities. This executive leadership role is responsible for ensuring exceptional resident care, regulatory compliance, financial performance, employee engagement, and community relations.
The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with a passion for serving seniors, developing teams, and driving operational excellence while maintaining a resident-centered culture.
What You'll Do
As the Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, you will:
Facility Leadership & Operations
- Provide overall leadership and management of facility operations.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Direct and oversee all departments, programs, policies, and procedures.
- Develop operational goals and implement strategies to improve quality outcomes.
- Maintain ongoing communication with corporate leadership and governing bodies.
- Ensure residents receive the highest quality of care and services.
Financial Management
- Review and interpret monthly financial statements.
- Manage facility budgets and resources effectively.
- Monitor accounts receivable and address delinquent collections promptly.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting to corporate leadership.
- Oversee workers' compensation documentation and reporting.
Team Development & Human Resources
- Recruit, hire, develop, and retain high-performing team members.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for department heads.
- Foster a positive workplace culture focused on accountability and teamwork.
- Support employee development and succession planning initiatives.
Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Maintain readiness for state and federal surveys.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and performance monitoring programs.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, resident rights, safety standards, and company policies.
- Address resident concerns and grievances promptly and professionally.
Community & Customer Relations
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, physicians, referral sources, and regulatory agencies.
- Represent the facility within the local healthcare community.
- Serve as a resource and advocate for long-term care services.
Qualifications
Required
- Current Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) license in the state of employment.
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Completion of an Administrator-in-Training (AIT) program or prior experience as an Administrator or Assistant Administrator.
- Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and operations.
- Proven leadership, organizational, and financial management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to travel occasionally, including overnight travel when required.
Preferred
- Prior experience leading a skilled nursing facility.
- Experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- BSN or advanced healthcare-related degree.
