Description
The PeopleSoft HCM Administrator is responsible for administering, configuring, and optimizing PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) modules to support the organization's workforce management and operational efficiency. This role ensures that the system's configuration and processes align with business needs, enhance productivity, and maintain data accuracy across all HR functions.
Key responsibilities include managing and configuring PeopleSoft Absence Management (version 9.1 or higher), including establishing absence frameworks, calendars, and entitlements. The PeopleSoft HCM Administrator also oversees Time and Labor setup, defining workgroups and task groups, and implementing processing rules to ensure accurate management of employee time in accordance with the Authority's business processes and policies.
The position requires strong technical knowledge of PeopleSoft functionality, an understanding of HR operations, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into effective system configurations. The PeopleSoft HCM Administrator serves as a key liaison between HR, IT, and other stakeholders, ensuring reliable system performance, process efficiency, and compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
Education/ Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Information Systems Management
Four (4) years of experience in systems analysis and programming in a web application environment or similar work on applications in the PeopleSoft environment.
