RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircrafts, including inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on aircrafts.
Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform maintenance tasks.
Read and interpret aircraft schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints.
Assemble and disassemble aircraft components for repair or replacement.
Conduct functional tests and inspections to ensure proper operation of aircraft systems.
Document all maintenance activities and keep accurate records using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent.
FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification required.
FAA Inspection Autorization (IA) preferred.
Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for aircraft maintenance.
Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, including avionics, hydraulics, electrical systems, and engines.
Ability to read and interpret aircraft schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints.
Experience with soldering and assembly of aircraft components.
Overall mechanically proficient in many areas, someone who is used to “fixing anything”.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a relaxed, moderate-paced environment.
