Vokal is seeking a powerful and dynamic Associate Director of Paid Media for our fast-growing advisory and agency, based in our Chicago office. As an experienced Associate Director of Paid Media, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and optimizing media buying strategies across various platforms to achieve business objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of media channels, negotiation skills, and analytical expertise to maximize the return on advertising spend (ROAS).
As an experienced Associate Director of Paid Media, your main objectives will be:
- Media Strategy Development: Develop comprehensive media buying strategies aligned with marketing and business goals.
- Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and manage campaigns across digital (social media, search, programmatic). Experience with TV, radio, podcast a plus but not required.
- Budget Management: Oversee and allocate media budgets effectively, ensuring cost efficiency and high ROI.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance, making data-driven recommendations for optimization.
- Audience Targeting & Segmentation: Identify and build out audience segments to create personalized marketing campaigns that align with customer interests, behaviors, and needs.
Preferred Requirements of Candidates:
- At least 4 years of paid media experience
- Ability to rapidly grasp technical concepts
- Relentless attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience building and/or managing teams
