Summary - Voith US Inc. is looking for a Payroll and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Intern to help support the HRIS and Payroll department. This Intern will be responsible for the tasks included below. Ideally this role will be part-time during the school year and full-time during the summer months however Voith is open to alternate schedules.

Summary - Voith US Inc. is looking for a Payroll and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Intern to help support the HRIS and Payroll department. This Intern will be responsible for the tasks included below. Ideally this role will be part-time during the school year and full-time during the summer months however Voith is open to alternate schedules.
Responsibilities -
- Collaborates with HR/HRIS/Payroll colleagues to perform and support Payroll/HRIS tasks and projects
- Maintain appropriate confidentiality in dealing with company and employee information
- Perform research related work, data entry prep work, I-9 assistance, and archiving activities to support Payroll Specialists and HRIS Generalists.
- Provide support to the payroll Team related to auditing, research, and/or data cleanup work
- Review and determine recommended storage and organization approach for HRGBS Team shared electronic files, such as Teams and Sharepoint
- Other payroll and HRIS related tasks as assigned
Qualifications -
- Current student pursuing a bachelor's degree in one of the following: Human Resources, Information Systems, Data Analytics or related field
- Previous experience in data analytics or data science preferred
- Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
