Industry Leading Full Time Opportunity!
- $26/hour
- Required to work at minimum 1730 hours within 12 months (or year round).
- School Bus assignments will include school routes, field trips, after school activities, and summer programs/charters.
- The desire to advance into motorcoach is required, training in all vehicle types will allow you to reach your minimum hourly commitment.
- A six day on, three day off, schedule may be adjusted to fit the needs of the business which would include weekdays and weekends.
- Required to complete assignments given within the scheduled 6 days
- Assignments for the next rotation will be given no later than the last day of the current rotation.
- Overtime is exempt
- Minimum and maximum daily payout for scheduled days pending actual hours worked and group cancellations.
- Required to work holidays if the holiday falls within the scheduled rotation.
- 8 hours holiday pay will be received when working New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day.
- PTO accrued along with standard benefits.
Upon Hire: (Listed below are the State and Federal Requirements for Operating a School Bus in Minnesota. Other variables may disqualify individuals based on specific criteria, including criminal offenses, driving violations, or failure to meet health standards.)
- A valid CDL Class B with Passenger and School Bus endorsements, and no Airbrake restrictions, is required.
- Successful completion of a Pre-Employment Drug Test, along with Federal Random Drug Testing, is mandatory.
- A passable Pre-Employment Physical Assessment must be completed.
- A passable Medical Examination for the DOT Health Card must be completed.
- Paid behind-the-wheel training will be provided.
- A Road Test will be completed and administered by a State Certified Examiner.
