Voice Motor Sales is looking for a skilled and dependable Automotive Service Technician to join our team. We offer a stable Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends, providing the work-life balance that can be difficult to find in the automotive industry.
$30–$45 per flat-rate hour based on experience, certifications, and productivity. Guaranteed minimum pay during your first 90 days, plus a potential sign-on bonus for qualified GM-certified technicians.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair automotive mechanical and electrical issues
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and warranty repairs
- Complete repairs accurately and efficiently
- Document completed work and recommended repairs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and other team members
- Follow dealership and manufacturer repair procedures
Qualifications
- Previous automotive repair experience preferred
- Current State of Michigan mechanic certification in the applicable repair categories or a valid Michigan mechanic trainee permit
- Candidates who do not currently hold the required credentials must obtain them before performing repairs
- GM and ASE certifications are preferred but not required
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to operate standard diagnostic and repair equipment
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Dependable, motivated, and able to work as part of a team
- Must provide your own basic tools
