Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and assembly to ensure timely service and high-quality dishes
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing supplies
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables and resetting dining areas efficiently
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies and equipment following safe lifting practices
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and professional manner
- Operate POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and payments
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting with safe practices
- Strong communication skills for effective guest interaction and team collaboration
- Experience with food running, serving, and in-person customer service roles advantageous
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
