Hairstylist/Cosmetologist

Position Summary

The Hairstylist/Cosmetologist is responsible for delivering exceptional salon services while creating a luxury guest experience from consultation to checkout. Team members are expected to maintain high professional standards, build strong guest relationships, recommend home care and treatments, and contribute positively to the overall salon culture.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional hair services including:
• Haircuts & styling
• Blonding & color services
• Highlighting/balayage
• Treatments & conditioning services
• Formal styling & special occasion hair
• Extensions (preferred but not required)
• Conduct thorough consultations and recommend customized service plans
• Educate guests on proper home care and product recommendations
• Recommend retail products and additional salon/spa services
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the salon
• Stay current on industry trends, techniques, and education
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, promotions, and salon events
• Assist in creating social media content and growing personal clientele
• Work collaboratively with salon, spa, and guest relations teams
• Deliver an exceptional luxury-level guest experience every visit

Qualifications

• Active Delaware Cosmetology License
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Passion for beauty, wellness, and continuing education
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Time management and organizational skills
• Self-motivated with a growth mindset
• Experience with social media and client retention is a plus
• Existing clientele is welcome but not required
