Fleet Manager / Mechanic

We are currently seeking a skilled Fleet Manager to join our Vogue family in Elko, NV.

As a Fleet Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of vehicles within Vogue's fleet. This includes routine maintenance (oil changes, brake repairs), more complex tasks (engine diagnostics, potential overhauls), ensuring vehicles meet safety regulations, and maintaining accurate maintenance records.

Requirements

• 21 years or older
• Ability to pass a drug test
• 3 year’s experience with heavy duty truck fleet is a plus, but not required
• 3 year’s experience diesel and gas automotive
• Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully
• Must possess English communication skills for the purpose of safety and to understand and interpret written and verbal communication, operating instructions, etc.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and minimal need for supervision, excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize repairs
• Own tool set capable of supporting heavy duty truck fleet. Specialty tools provided by Vogue
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, with and without diagnostic equipment
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as user manuals, operating and maintenance instructions, assembly and wiring diagrams, diagnostic equipment, safety rules and regulations
• Computer skills: Internet, email, excel, write daily repair reports and correspondence in fleet programs, utilize diagnostic equipment
• Must wear proper PPE for the task, follow safety rules, procedures, follow safe driving practices, ensure compliance with OSHA and State Regulations
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to safely lift 75 pounds or more frequently
• Climb on and off of the equipment, ramps, stairs, and ladders
• Crawl, bend, stoop, twist, reach, push and pull, and position body in such a way to perform required duties
• Sitting, crouching and standing for long periods of time
• Adjust to changing weather environments, conditions, and factors
  
  

License(s) And Certifications(s)

• Must have and maintain a valid Class C Nevada Driver’s License and provide a DMV 3-Year Drivers History Report
• MSHA Certification is a plus, but not required
• Certification(s) in diesel automotive technology / Specialized vehicle & equipment repair courses

Pay: Annual Salary Range DOE $62,400.00 – $83,200.00
