Duties
- Lead and supervise daily store operations, ensuring efficient workflow and excellent customer experiences
- Manage team schedules, assign tasks, and oversee shift management to maximize productivity
- Recruit, interview, and onboard new employees, providing comprehensive training and development opportunities
- Oversee inventory management, including stock replenishment, merchandising, pricing strategies, and inventory control
- Handle payroll processing, cash handling, cashiering duties, and bookkeeping to maintain accurate financial records
- Implement marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns to boost retail sales and customer engagement
- Utilize POS systems for sales transactions and manage purchasing activities to optimize store profitability
- Foster a positive team environment through effective communication skills and employee orientation practices
- Monitor retail math metrics such as sales targets, budgeting, and sales management to meet business goals
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, phone etiquette, and organizational procedures
Experience
- Proven management experience in a retail or grocery store setting with supervisory responsibilities
- Strong background in recruiting, training & development, team management, and employee supervision
- Demonstrated expertise in inventory management, merchandising, pricing strategies, and retail math
- Experience with POS systems, cash handling procedures, payroll processing, and bookkeeping software
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a customer-centric environment
- Prior assistant manager or supervisory experience in retail sales or grocery store operations is preferred
- Familiarity with wireless sales or other specialized retail sectors is a plus
