Seeking a highly skilled Plant Controller to join a leading manufacturing company in the Stateline Area. This person oversees all financial and accounting functions, ensuring the integrity of budgeting and financial activities while providing strategic support to drive performance and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking, ensuring financial objectives align with plant operations.
- Oversee monthly financial close processes, generate financial statements, and provide insights on trends, variances, and budget performance.
- Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets, ensure compliance with GAAP, and support audits by internal and external stakeholders.
- Direct all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and costing, while optimizing ERP and financial systems utilization.
- Support leadership with financial insights, capital expenditure planning, and strategic initiatives to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required. Advanced degree/certifications a plus.
- 5 years of accounting experience in the manufacturing sector, including leading/mentoring a team, strong GAAP knowledge and application, demonstrated analytical skills, and in-depth understanding of accounting principles and procedures required. Public accounting experience is a plus.
- Record of development, driving and implementing successful continuous improvement initiatives and delivering measurable results.
- Strong ERP system and accounting software experience, and advanced Excel skills.
- Detail oriented, organized, and accurate with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong leadership skills and experience in leading/managing others. Able to mentor and develop subordinates.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interface effectively at all business levels.
- Adaptable multitasker with the ability to support evolving priorities in a fast-paced team environment.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base Salary: $115,000-$135,000 annually, exempt
- Eligible for annual bonus
