About this Role

Vogo is seeking a Senior Platform Product Manager to lead the evolution of our core platform infrastructure, backend systems, integrations, and AI-driven capabilities that power our consumer experiences across mobile, web, and partner channels.


This role sits at the intersection of platform strategy, systems architecture, data infrastructure, supplier connectivity, and applied AI. You will own foundational product capabilities that enable scalable growth, operational excellence, and faster innovation across the company. While deeply technical in nature, this role also requires strong collaboration with other product managers, engineering, analytics, operations, and CX teams to ensure platform investments are successfully adopted and translated into measurable business outcomes.


The ideal candidate is highly analytical, technically fluent, execution-oriented, and comfortable operating across both strategic planning and detailed systems-level problem solving. You should be excited about modern AI applications, backend integrations, distributed systems, APIs, automation, and building scalable internal platforms that empower teams and improve customer experiences.


This role will report directly to the Chief Product Officer. This is a full-time hybrid position, based in Dallas.


Role & Responsibilities:

Platform Strategy & Systems

  • Own and evolve the platform roadmap across backend services, integrations, data systems, infrastructure tooling, and core operational platforms
  • Drive scalable platform initiatives that improve system reliability, operational efficiency, release quality, and execution velocity across consumer experiences
  • Partner closely with engineering leadership and application Product Managers to define scalable system architectures, APIs, integrations, and platform modernization initiatives
  • Lead cross-functional alignment between platform engineering and application teams to prioritize foundational investments and drive adoption of platform capabilities
  • Own supplier integrations and connectivity initiatives across partners, APIs, and distribution systems, including onboarding & monitoring
  • Drive improvements in listing quality, property and room mapping, data completeness, and operational visibility across supply sources
  • Partner with engineering and operations teams to improve pricing systems, supplier payments, fraud systems & chargebacks
  • Drive development of internal operational tools supporting operations & customer support workflows and workflow automation
  • Help improve platform observability, monitoring systems, incident workflows, release processes, and operational reporting across business functions


AI & Automation

  • Identify and implement AI-driven opportunities across automation, operational tooling, customer support, and partner management
  • Drive development of AI-powered workflows & proofs of concept (POCs) leveraging LLMs, orchestration frameworks, and automation tooling to improve productivity and operational efficiency
  • Partner with engineering, data, and business teams to evaluate AI use cases, define guardrails and success metrics, and operationalize scalable AI-enabled capabilities across the platform


Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in Product Management with exposure to platform systems, backend infrastructure, integrations, or technical products
  • Strong understanding of APIs, distributed systems, backend architectures, data pipelines, and system integrations
  • Experience partnering closely with engineering teams on technical platform initiatives and infrastructure investments
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with application PMs and business stakeholders to drive adoption of platform capabilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to prioritization and execution
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for cross-functional teams
  • Experience managing highly cross-functional initiatives in fast-moving environments
  • Strong ownership mindset with attention to operational detail and execution quality


Preferred Qualifications & Prior Experience:

  • Experience building or scaling AI-enabled products, automation systems, or intelligent platform capabilities
  • Familiarity with LLMs, AI orchestration frameworks, or AI workflow tooling
  • Experience with supplier/partner integrations, marketplace systems, or travel technology platforms
  • Technical familiarity with GCP, SQL, APIs, and cloud-native architectures
  • Experience with release infrastructure, CI/CD processes, or platform reliability initiatives
  • Experience with analytics and observability tools such as Firebase, Mixpanel, PostHog, Datadog, or similar platforms
  • Experience with payment systems, fraud tooling, risk platforms, or commerce infrastructure
  • Background in marketplace platforms, B2B integrations, whitelabel applications, or multi-tenant systems
  • Startup experience strongly preferred
