Job Description:

Leading global metals manufacturing and distribution company is looking for full-time Gun Drill Operator at a key service center location in Ellwood City, PA. Candidates should ideally have metal service center work experience with blueprint reading, programming, precision measuring, and quality inspection. We are looking for a self-motivated individual, possessing good communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work within a team. Key Functions:

· Machine setup and calibration

· Gun drill operation, including cutting parameters and coolant systems

· Measuring and inspecting drilled holes ensuring accuracy and quality

· Position and secure steel plates on machines, using holding devices, precision measuring and knowledge of metal properties and machining techniques

· Perform duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules and standards

· Maintenance and troubleshooting

· Maintain work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition

Requirements:

· Prefer 2 to 5 years of experience in metal service center operations

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

· Ability to work overtime and weekends as required

· Strong ability to work within a team

· Programming , CADD ,and blueprint reading

· Academic proficiency in math, reading comprehension, mechanical abilities

· Dependability and high motivation
