This is a full-time, on-site role for a Restoration Technician based in Arlington, VA. The Restoration Technician will work hands-on in water damage restoration, cleanup, and mitigation operations, ensuring quick response and high-quality service. Daily tasks include assessing damage, extracting water, and employing proper techniques to remediate affected areas. Candidates will perform equipment maintenance, document restoration processes, and communicate effectively with clients and team members in maintaining safety and ensuring excellence in project completion.
- Experience with water damage and water damage restoration processes, including the ability to assess and respond to damage effectively
- Knowledge of mitigation techniques and the ability to implement proper strategies for cleaning and restoring affected spaces
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with clients and team members
- Additional experience or certifications related to invasive species removal or similar operations is a plus
- Ability to manage physical tasks involving restoration work, such as lifting, moving equipment, and operating in various conditions
- Attention to detail and organizational skills for accurately documenting restoration activities
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites as needed
