What You’ll Do
- Perform high-quality carpet, tile, upholstery, and air duct cleaning using professional equipment.
- Support restoration crews with water mitigation, mold remediation, and odor removal services.
- Document work performed using job tracking apps or company software.
- Communicate respectfully with customers and represent the Voda brand with professionalism.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of your company vehicle and equipment.
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper PPE usage and lifting procedures.
- Keep detailed logs, work orders, and daily technician notes.
- Participate in training and certification opportunities to build skills and advance within the company.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Basic tech/computer skills (we use mobile tools for job logs and reports).
- Ability to read and apply basic math when using meters or determining equipment needs.
- Must be dependable, punctual, coachable, and team-oriented.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
- At least 1 year of floor cleaning or specialty cleaning experience (e.g., carpet, air duct cleaning, tile & grout).
- Experience or interest in earning IICRC certifications such as:
- CCT – Carpet Cleaning Technician
- WRT – Water Restoration Technician
- AMRT – Applied Microbial Remediation Technician
- FSRT – Fire & Smoke Restoration Technician
- ASD – Applied Structural Drying
- OCT – Odor Control Technician
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly, up to 75 lbs occasionally with assistance.
- Comfortable standing, bending, kneeling, and working in tight or elevated spaces.
- Must be able to work in a variety of environments, including hot, humid, or wet conditions.
- Willing to wear full PPE and follow safety protocols on every job.
