Crew Chief Activities

Supervising and leading technicians

Water Damage Technician Qualifications

Extensive Experience in Restoration : Several years of hands-on experience in water, fire, mold, and / or other types of property restoration, including knowledge of industry standards and best practices.

Strong Leadership and Management Skills : Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively, including supervising technicians, coordinating job site activities, and making critical decisions under pressure.

Relevant Certifications : Certifications such as IICRC in areas like Water Damage Restoration, Fire and Smoke Restoration, or Mold Remediation, which demonstrate expertise and commitment to the field.

Excellent Communication Abilities : Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both for client interactions and for coordinating with team members, insurance adjusters, and other stakeholders.

Technical Proficiency : Proficiency in using restoration equipment and technology, including moisture meters, dehumidifiers, and software for project management and documentation.
