This position offers a rewarding opportunity for licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support diverse student populations across multiple school levels in a travel capacity. Services will be provided in elementary, middle, and high school settings within the Little Rock, Arkansas area. The role involves working with a caseload averaging 45 students, addressing a variety of speech and language challenges including articulation, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and other communication needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments for students with diverse needs.
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans tailored to support students’ unique communication goals.
- Collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals to ensure holistic student support.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with educational guidelines.
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to promote effective intervention strategies.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings.
- Strong understanding of speech disorders related to articulation, ASD, and mixed communication needs.
