This is a full-time, onsite position serving a manageable caseload of approximately 45 students. You'll conduct one-on-one and group therapy sessions, assess and test students, and contribute to developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)—bringing essential skills to help students thrive academically and socially.
Qualifications:
- Valid IL SSW License required
- Experience in school-based speech language pathology (preferred)
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Knowledge of IEP procedures and compliance standards
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech/language therapy to individual students and small groups
- Conduct evaluations, assessments, and re-evaluations
- Participate and present findings in IEP meetings
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and support staff
- Accurately maintain student documentation and progress reports
