Overview:
We are seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide virtual services to elementary and middle school students across Delaware. In this full-time role, you will help students develop the fine motor, sensory, and functional skills needed to succeed academically and in daily activities. You will collaborate remotely with teachers, families, and other related service providers to ensure students receive individualized support.
Caseload:
Serving elementary and middle school students
Combination of direct virtual therapy sessions and consultative support for teachers and families
Caseload may include students with multiple disabilities, requiring coordination with other providers
Responsibilities:
Provide direct occupational therapy services virtually, addressing fine motor, sensory, and functional skill development
Conduct assessments and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs)
Collaborate remotely with teachers, families, and related service providers to support student progress
Develop and implement treatment plans and interventions tailored to each students needs
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and district requirements
Monitor student progress and adjust therapy strategies as needed
Requirements:
Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
Active Delaware OT license (or eligibility to obtain)
Experience working with elementary and middle school students preferred
Proficiency with telepractice platforms and virtual therapy delivery
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
