Assistant Manager

Vocelli Pizza Hopewell is looking for an Assistant Manager/ Shift Manager. You would be responsible for the day to day operations of the store when the GM or Owner is not there. As well as assisting them while they are present. We have owned and operated our other location for 20 years. We are experienced owners who know how to run a store and put a good crew together. We are family owned and operated and treat our employees like family as well.

If you CAN'T stretch pizza please DO NOT APPLY!! You must be an excellent pizza maker first and foremost and be able to work in a busy and sometimes stressful environment. Quality pizza is a huge deal for us and we value quality food! The store is pretty busy so you must be able to work in a busy kitchen and be able to multi-task.

We are looking for a long time employee, there is room to grow in this role, we always try to promote from within. If you can't stretch pizza then this is not the job for you!! We want someone who is well versed in the pizza industry and looking for a new store and a fresh start. Shifts would be evenings mostly usually 4-10 or 4-12. This can also be a part time shift manager position if you are looking for less hours. Weekends are a must as they are the busiest times of the week. We have a GM and an AGM now you would also be an assistant to both of them. Our GM will be on maternity leave June until September so there will be an increased roll over the summer with a great opportunity to show us what type of employee you are.

I will have any potential candidates come in and work a shift or two to make sure you are a proper fit for us and we are a proper fit for you. I need to see your pizza making ability and your customer service skills in action before I can commit to hiring you for the position. I don't want to waste anybody's time.
