Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Food Service Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing in-person customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Your primary duties will include preparing and serving food, operating kitchen equipment, processing cash transactions, and maintaining cleanliness standards to ensure a safe and welcoming dining experience for all guests.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional in-person customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing their needs promptly and courteously
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to prepare food items according to established standards
• Process cash transactions accurately, handling payments and giving correct change
• Assist with food preparation and presentation as needed to support smooth restaurant operations
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment through regular cleaning and sanitation practices
• Support team members in various tasks to ensure efficient restaurant operations throughout the shift

Requirements

• Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn on the job is essential
• Strong communication skills with the ability to provide friendly and professional customer service
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform cleaning duties as required
• A positive attitude, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset are highly valued
