Direct Support Professional - Part Time - Day Program

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Starting at $17.12 (DOE)

Schedule: Hours available from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday

The Vocational Training Center (VTC) of Fargo, ND is now searching for candidates with a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences to join our team as part-time Direct Support Professionals (DSP).

Responsibilities of this position will include:

• Providing guidance to and actively engaging with adults who have intellectual/developmental disabilities in a variety of vocational and social settings
• Accompanying individuals to off-site activities
• Assisting individuals with personal care responsibilities and administering medications based on individual needs
• Supervising crews on and off-site performing a number of different vocational services
• Maintaining flexibility and composure in an ever-changing work environment
• Complete Certificate with ND Direct Care Careers

Required:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Current driver's license
  
  
  

Preferred:

• Previous experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
