Vodec is currently hiring for a full-time Administrative Assistant to join our team. Vodec provides services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities with a wide-range of services and programs.

Available Position:
- Full-time; 40 hours per week
- Monday-Friday 7:30 am to 4pm
- Wage: $17.50 per hour
- Hiring Bonus: $1,000 (paid in one increment after six months of continued employment)
The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing support to the administrative and program service team. This position will assist in the daily operation of the office, including but not limited to:
- Greet clients, visitors, and guests; determines the purpose of each person’s visit and directs or escorts him or her to the appropriate location.
- Notify all staff of who is in the building.
- Answers, screens, and directs phone calls to staff; takes messages and schedules appointments.
- Collect mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and delivers or distributes items.
- Performs administrative and clerical support tasks.
- Manage the conference room calendars and meeting schedules.
- Assist with new hire orientation set up.
- Performs basic filing and recordkeeping.
- Maintain and order supplies.
- Performs other duties.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems.
- Ability to work independently.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be at least 19 years of age
- High school or equivalent diploma
- One year’s experience performing similar functions
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
- Valid driver’s license
- Satisfactory driving record
- Be able to pass a background check
