39 MICU, SICU, CICU, TICU mixed unit- All one ICU divided into pods- would not float into CVICU side unless experienced in that unit/specialtyMinimal Experience:2 years of ICU experience EXCLUDING travel experience is most preferredIf they have 1.5 years of ICU experience EXCLUDING travel and have significant RN experience outside of ICU, please have CRT send to management team for approvalWill you accept a first-time traveler? No. Minimum one prior travel assignment.Travelers must live 100 miles away from any Monument Health facilityPermanent staff must wait 1 year before returning as a travelerPatient Types:Complex ICU patients ranging from surgical, medical, cardiac (preferred), neuro and traumaDiagnoses include but are not limited to: ARDS, MI, CVA/TIA, COVID, s/p cardiac cath, post-surgical, multiple system trauma heavy trauma populationCardiac experience is preferred (not required): CABG/TAVR 24 to 48 hrs post op experience is preferred but not required for travelersWill not take fresh open hearts unless they are experienced, and the facility felt comfortable with this given to permanent staffPatient Ratios:RN: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3 (rare) acuity
