We are seeking a Program Coordinator (IDD Services) who thrives in a people-centered, service‑oriented role. In this position, you’ll ensure high‑quality, person‑centered services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, while supporting and leading the staff who make this work possible.
What You’ll Do
As the Program Coordinator, you will play a key role by:
- Ensuring person-centered plans are implemented and progressing for each individual on your caseload
- Managing fiscal responsibilities, staffing authorizations, and oversight of personal funds, Social Security, and DDS eligibility
- Completing required documentation accurately and on time
- Conducting site visits to service recipients’ homes and ensuring household compliance
- Supervising and supporting direct support professionals and managing staff scheduling
- Overseeing staff training requirements and participating in hiring and placement decisions
- Coordinating services with healthcare providers and external partners
- Building strong, professional relationships with individuals served, families, team members, and state/federal partners
- Maintaining strict confidentiality across all program activities
- Providing direct support when needed
- Responding to after‑hours emergencies
- Performing additional duties that support program excellence
What You Bring
- 4 years of combined college education and/or full-time experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- 3 years of supervisory experience
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance
- Knowledge of government programs, health services, and social service systems
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced service environment
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Physical Requirements
This role involves regular movement, including walking, standing, climbing, bending, or kneeling. Occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs.) and frequent driving are required.
