Role Description
Voahangy's Consulting & Training is seeking a talented and imaginative Television Writer for a remote, contract-based role. The Television Writer will craft engaging scripts for TV shows, commercials, documentaries, and other broadcast content. This role requires strong storytelling abilities, an understanding of visual storytelling, and the ability to write compelling dialogue that resonates with audiences.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop original scripts, screenplays, and story outlines for television programming.
2. Write engaging dialogue, scene descriptions, and character-driven narratives.
3. Collaborate with producers, directors, and other writers to refine scripts and meet creative goals.
4. Research industry trends and audience preferences to ensure relevant and compelling content.
5. Edit and revise scripts based on feedback while maintaining consistency and tone.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience
1. Proven experience in television writing, screenwriting, or script development, with a portfolio demonstrating expertise.
2. Strong storytelling skills and an ability to create compelling characters and narratives.
