This is a full-time position with a set schedule that allows the same two days off per week.
Travel
Little to no travel is expected for this position.

Essential Functions
- Provides direction to all security technicians on shift
- Perform resident intake process
- Monitor residents' accountability and compliance with the program both inside the facility and in the community; document resident compliance
- Perform searches of dorms, vehicles, and residents; document and store all confiscated resident items
- Monitor resident phone calls for program compliance
- Perform resident drug testing
- Ensures completion of property, facility, and vehicle searches as required
- Walk through the facility to ensure safety and security and accurate headcount
- Maintains facility security by monitoring staff security and perimeter checks
- Monitor resident's medication
- Completes assigned audits
- Conduct ongoing Security Technician training
- Transport residents to work and programming
- Assists residents with short term coping and problem-solving skills
- Conduct monthly fire drills
- Perform and oversee weekly and monthly deep cleaning
- Ensures ongoing compliance with Volunteers of America Northern Rockies policies and procedures
- Ensures ongoing compliance with resident handbook and sponsoring agency requirements
- Secure and inventory all absent resident property
- Effective communicator both orally and written; assertive when necessary
- Ability to deal with confrontation in a calm and positive manner
- Ability to work under pressure to prioritize tasks and meet tight time deadlines
- Ability to guide and mentor others

Required Education, Experience Or Eligibility Qualifications
- High School education or equivalent
- Proficient with computer programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Office
- Valid driver's license and the ability to drive a 15-passenger transportation van
- Must be able to pass a background check with the Wyoming Department of Corrections and Bureau of Prisons
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience
- One or more years of work experience in a residential setting or related field
