Job Summary
Responsible for helping patients with personal hygiene, minor medical needs, housekeeping, and other daily needs as required by the patient.
Essential Functions
Helps patients with personal hygiene, dressing, bathing, and other daily tasks.
Performs basic health care services for patients, including checking vital signs or administering prescription medication.
- Helps with general light housekeeping.
- Makes transportation arrangements as needed.
- Observes and reports on patient's condition.

High School Diploma or Equivalent required

Licenses and Credentials
Class D Passenger Vehicle Driver's License [Mass License] - Certified Home Health Aide - Required
Experience
Clinical/Hospital/Managed Care Office Experience 1-2 years preferred or Patient Care Experience 0-1 year preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledgeable in-patient care practices including personal care, homemaking and basic health care services.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Have good personal hygiene.
- Able to do light housekeeping.
- Good communication skills both written and oral.
