This position would be responsible for providing skilled nursing care to homecare patients in Essex County. This role is Per Diem.Supports organization’s mission by striving for excellence in all aspects of their job with a focus on positive interpersonal relationship with co-workersAssesses and evaluates the needs of patients with multiple disease processes and co morbidities and develops an appropriate plan of careDocuments all changes in patient’s condition and updates care plans and outcomesIdentifies teaching needs and plans appropriate strategies for individuals and familiesMonitors quality and appropriateness of services providedEstablishes and maintains professional working relationship with health care providers and other members of the disciplinary teams in providing patient and family careAdheres to agency infection control and safety policiesAdheres to the organization’s policy in regards to absenteeism and appearanceOmission of specific duties does not exclude them from this position if the work is similar, related or a logical assignment for this positionQualifications:RN with Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred1 year of supervised clinical experience as a registered nurseExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong computer skillsExcellent organizational and interpersonal skillsCar and valid driver’s licenseWorking Conditions/Physical Demand: Working indoors and outdoors with clinical equipment and use of phone and computer; Job characteristics: Client and Customer contactIn compliance with New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, the total compensation range for this position is USD $60,000 to USD $110,000. When determining an offer, VNA Health Group considers factors such as the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's work experience, education/training, relevant skills, internal pay equity, and market and organizational conditions. The total compensation range reflects the total package, including base salary, overtime, bonuses, add-on incentives, special clinical compensation, retirement plans, and all other benefits.
