Hospice Home Health Aide Administrator
Location: Essex County, NJ
VNA Health Group is looking for a Home Health Aide Administrator to support our Hospice team in the West Orange office. The HHA Administrator will be responsible for supporting the Home Health Aide operations and HHA Managers.
Principal Responsibilities:
Supports organization’s mission by striving for excellence in all aspects of their job with a focus on positive interpersonal relationship with co-workers
Facilitates and coordinates the interdisciplinary care and services provided by the Aide to patients and families
Reports to RN Clinical Manger/RN Field Manager in coordinating field visits with Aides to client’s homes for the purposes of competency evaluation and supervision
Monitors the quality and appropriateness of services provided by the staff, in collaboration with RN Clinical Managers.
Provides back-up support to the Clinical Manager.
Adheres to agency infection control and safety policies
In addition any other job responsibility as assigned.
Job Competencies & Minimum Qualifications:
CHHA Certification required
H.S. diploma required and college experience preferred
2 years of experience in community home health aide experience, providing direct patient care
Strong computer skills
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with ability to supervise others
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingual preferred
Working Conditions/Physical Demand: Business Office Environment. Working indoors and outdoors with use of phone and computer; Job characteristics: Client and Customer contact.
In compliance with New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, the total compensation range for this position is USD $65,000 to USD $110,000. When determining an offer, VNA Health Group considers factors such as the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's work experience, education/training, relevant skills, internal pay equity, and market and organizational conditions. The total compensation range reflects the total package, including base salary, overtime, bonuses, add-on incentives, special clinical compensation, retirement plans, and all other benefits.
