VN Engineers, Inc. is seeking a full-time Construction Inspector for a CTDOT project located in the Hartford area..
Responsibilities will include:
- Inspect work performed by construction contractors to ensure conformance with contract plans and specifications
- Contract administration
- Report daily progress and prepare daily work reports
- Track and document quality and quantities of work performed
- Report and document construction problems and challenges in the field
- Other oversight responsibilities as assigned
Candidates must have at least one year of related experience (CTDOT experience preferred), along with a NICET II certification or Bachelor s degree in Engineering. Candidates must be reliable and have strong written and oral communication skills. There will be a substantial amount of nightwork on this project. Candidate must be willing to work nights when needed.
