Class A CDL Driver/Equipment Operator

General Description:
CDL Truck Driver/Equipment Operator to drive a company vehicle to deliver tools, building materials, and equipment from our shop or the supply house to the jobsite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and secure tools, building materials, or equipment onto the delivery vehicle
- Deliver orders to site and unload material/equipment safely and accurately with coordination from the project Foreman or Shop Manager
- Verify order details and maintain log of deliveries, including amounts, mileage, and location
- Maintain service logs and pre/post trip inspection procedures
- Pick up parts for the shop, when needed
- Help around the yard as needed
- Professionally interact with internal and external customers
- Verify possession of the right equipment or material for the job
- Work in a safe manner and comply with WBC safety requirements
- Communicate with shop foremen, dispatcher, group superintendents, and team members
- Assist with development and Implementation of site safety and work-task plans
- Recognize and correct job site hazards
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Pre-employment drug screen
- Ability to drive manual and automatic transmissions
- Experience operating forklifts, skid-steers, and mini excavators
- Training/experience in equipment operation and maintenance
- Knowledge of light and heavy equipment
- Problem-solving, troubleshooting, and maintenance-oriented reasoning skills
- Ability to lift/push/pull 50 lbs. on a regular basis, as well as other physical tasks
- Valid Class A CDL
