Quality Inspectors, SMT/PCBA (Multiple Job Openings)

We are currently hiring multiple Quality Inspector positions.

1) FQA Inspector (1 day shift; 1 swing shift)

2) Postwave QC (1 day shift; 1 swing shift)

3) SMTQC (1 day shift; 1 swing shift)

FQA Inspector

Hourly Salary Rate: $25.00-$27.00/hr

Work Schedule: Day Shift (6:00 AM-2:30 PM); Swing shift (2:30PM – 11:00 PM)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. IPC-610 Rev H.

If no current certification, candidate may still be considered for an interview if they are willing to complete the hands-on IPC test (open book, approximately 1–1.5 hours).

Job Description/Responsibilities:

· PCBA inspection (defect detection) of SMT, TH & Mech. Parts based on IPC-A-610 and Customer Requirements.

· Ensure that all products are in compliance to the Customer Specifications prior to shipment.

· Ensure Manufacturing Process Instructions are being followed were carried out.

· Responsible for reporting any non-conformance/defects during the manufacturing process via DGS system (Venture’s MES System).

· Responsible for accurately reporting yield data per the FQA Process.

· Knowledge and understanding of Manufacturing Process Instructions, product documentation and deviation implementation.

· Conduct First Article Inspection process for FQA.

· Responsible for feedbacking any information to Process and Quality Engineering departments for process improvements.

· Review Customer Final Documentation Package for completeness for delivery.

· Responsible for any additional in-process inspection points determined by Quality Engineering.

Job Requirements:

· Minimum of three years’ experience in Quality Assurance Control/Inspection process (PCBA and through hole components) following IPC-A-610 requirements.

· Ability to pass in-house IPC-A-610 Test and Certification Program.

· Experience using calipers, micrometers, magnifier lamp, microscopes.

· Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to read and understand Engineering Drawings and Component Datasheets is a must.

· Familiar with MS Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, etc.)

· Computer literate.

· Organizational skills and attention details.

· Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers.

Preferred but Not Required:

· IPC-A-610 CIS or CIT Certification through IPC Organization.

· J-STD-001 CIS or CIT Certification through IPC Organization.

· Experience in ISO13485 (Medical) and AS9100 (Aerospace) products is a plus.

SMTQC Inspector

Hourly Salary Rate: $25.00-$27.00/hr

Work Schedule: Day Shift (6:00 AM-2:30 PM); Swing shift (2:30PM – 11:00 PM)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. Know how to measure components using multi-meter or smart tweezer

2. Know how to read BOM and assembly drawing

Job Description/Responsibilities:

• Knowledge and understanding of Manufacturing Process Instructions, product documentation and deviation implementation for Surface Mount assemblies.
• Responsible for Surface Mount component FA inspection process.
• Responsible for stopping the line if needed.
• Responsible for scanning board data into the DGS system.

Job Requirements:

• High School Education or equivalent.
• Minimum two years’ inspection experience of surface mount and through-hole printed circuit boards is a must.
• Experience using DMM (digital multimeter); must have the ability to measure & interpret the multimeter readings.
• Experience in contract manufacturing.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions.
• Ability to identify components, polarity (placement of components), part marking, solder joint inspection.
• Ability to interpret quality control specifications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Computer literate.
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers.

Postwave/QC

Hourly Salary Rate: $25.00-$26.00/hr

Work Schedule: Day Shift (6:00 AM-2:30 PM); Swing shift (2:30PM – 11:00 PM)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. Prior Experience in Inspecting to IPC-610 Standards.

2. Basic Inspection Experience on Mechanical Assembly (Nuts, Screws, Washers, Wire Harness).

3. Ability to read Assembly Drawings and Manufacturing Instructions.

Job Description:

· PCBA inspection (defect detection) of Through-Hole and Mechanical Parts based on IPC-A-610 and Customer Requirements.

• Knowledge and understanding of Manufacturing Process Instructions, product documentation, and deviation implementation.

· Reporting any non-conformance/defects during the manufacturing process via DGS system (Venture’s MES System).

· Responsible for accurately reporting yield data per the Post Wave QC Process.

• Conduct First Article Inspection process for Through-Hole and Mechanical Parts.
• Check component polarity, markings, orientation, height, and placement.
• Verify loaded components on the Printed Circuit Board prior to soldering process.

· Responsible for feedbacking any information to Process and Quality Engineering departments for process improvements.

· Responsible for any additional in-process inspection points determined by Quality Engineering.

Job Requirements:

• High School Education or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of inspection experience following IPC-A-610 requirements of surface mount and through-hole technology for printed circuit board assemblies is a must.
• Ability to read and understand manufacturing work instructions
