What are the responsibilities and job description for the Guidewire Policy Center Architect position at Vkore Solutions?
Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end architecture, design and implementation of Guidewire PolicyCenter solutions
Define technical standards, architecture principles, integration patterns and best practices across the PolicyCenter program
Work closely with business teams to translate functional requirements into scalable technical architecture
Design and develop integrations between PolicyCenter and external systems (billing, claims, third-party services, data hubs, etc.)
Provide technical guidance to development team on Gosu coding, configuration and integration practices
Perform code reviews, resolve technical design issues and ensure adherence to architecture guidelines
Drive performance tuning, scalability and high availability within PolicyCenter implementations
Collaborate with QA and DevOps teams to support testing, deployment and release management
Provide hands-on support during major releases and production deployments
Create and maintain architecture documentation, solution design documents, interface specifications, and technical roadmaps
Provide thought leadership on Guidewire best practices, new features/capabilities and upgrade paths (Cloud/On-prem)
Mentor and coach developers and solution consultants
Participate in estimation, planning and risk identification for Guidewire projects
Required Skills
10 years of overall IT experience with at least 6 years of experience on Guidewire products
Strong hands-on expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration and integration (Gosu, Plugins, Web Services, Messaging)
Solid experience architecting large enterprise-level solutions on Guidewire suite
Strong knowledge of Java/J2EE, XML/XSD, REST/SOAP services and integration techniques
Experience with Guidewire Integration Framework, Batch Processes and PC Data Model
Proven experience designing API and service-based integrations with external systems
Understanding of Guidewire Cloud architecture and deployment patterns
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps processes (Jenkins, Git, Terraform, etc.)
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex architecture issues
Strong communication and leadership skills with ability to guide cross-functional teams
Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery model
Salary : $66 - $86
