Our mission is to be uncompromising in pushing the boundaries of component design and manufacturing for every OEM partner.This role is responsible for developing optimized software to support the prototypes of integrated x-ray sources and high voltage generators.Job DescriptionDesign and create requirement specifications for the Microcontrollers to be used in High Voltage power supply designsTest units, integration of firmware and GUI (Graphical User Interface) changesMaintain Software Version Control (SVN) and release management systemsProvide documentation for third party integration into the firmware and customer support to debug software issuesProgram Data Acquisition based GUI’s using serial communication (RS232) and Ethernet Communication (TCP/IP) protocolsWork with cross-functional team to design and develop new products and improve existing designsSafety Sensitive Position Essential SkillsBachelor’s Degree or higher in Electrical and/or Computer EngineeringDemonstrated ability to write firmware for industrial control equipmentMinimum of two (2) years of experience with NI, LabVIEW, Microsoft Visual Studio C /VB/C#, Embedded C and RTOS 2-3 years of experience with Freescale products (MC56F8037 7 ARM) microcontrollersAbility to work with Analog and Digital Circuits based PCB designs like Op Amps, ADC, DAC & multi-functional IC’sKnowledge of RS-232 and TCP/IP communication standardsProficient in Microsoft Office SuitePerform software development and version control adhering to SCRUM standardProficiency in the English language with well-established written and verbal communication skillsMust be a highly organized, self-motivated, team playerCollaboration and creative thinking skills Must be able to successfully pass drug screening and background checkNon-Essential SkillsKnowledge of radiographic imaging systems for industrial and medical inspectionStrong background in understanding x-ray tube design of high voltage generators to power up X-ray sourcesPrior experience developing wireless security protocolsPhysical & Mental Demands:Regularly required to sit, walk, bend, stoop and stand within an industrial environmentWill need to repeatedly use hands and fingers to operate basic office equipment and possibly operate hand and power tools standard to a production environmentExpected to effectively communicate in person, on the phone, via email and on other electronic devices on a continual and repetitive basisResponsibilities will require lifting, moving, staging and placing of materials up to 50 pounds alone and heavier with assistanceVision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focusMust be able to fulfill essential job functions in a consistent state of alertness and safe mannerMay be required to travel, domestically and internationally, by car and/or by air. Salary : $70,000 - $90,000
