Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout the premises, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. Your duties will include laundry, room inspections, and assisting with various housekeeping operations. The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, and committed to upholding high standards of cleanliness and service.
Responsibilities
- Perform laundry duties efficiently, ensuring all linens, towels, and guest clothing are cleaned and properly maintained.
- Conduct regular room inspections to verify cleanliness, organization, and adherence to hotel standards.
- Assist in training new room attendants to ensure they understand cleaning procedures and quality expectations.
- Support the executive housekeeper with scheduling tasks, coordinating daily housekeeping activities, and managing staff assignments.
- Help with general housekeeping tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing surfaces, and replenishing supplies as needed.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during cleaning procedures to maintain a safe environment for staff and guests.
- Respond promptly to guest requests or concerns related to housekeeping services.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and supervisors.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may involve lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
