VIZIA Diagnostics is a stand-alone, surgical pathology laboratory serving clients nationwide. Our team is focused on delivering best-in-class service excellence in diagnostic patient care.

We are a subspecialty model dedicated to the practice of gastrointestinal pathology with GI subspecialty-trained and experienced pathologists and histotechnicians focused exclusively on GI specimens to ensure the highest level of quality. VIZIA is a growing company with potential advancement into other surgical pathology specialties, including a more robust genitourinary practice.

In 2023, VIZIA was formed through an acquisition from Boston Scientific Corporation. With more than 30 years of operational expertise and advancements in diagnostic services, we are proud of what we have accomplished, but we are even more excited about what we will achieve together.

Position Summary:

The Data Entry Coordinator I is responsible for accurately inputting patient information into the Laboratory Information System (LIS). The coordinator ensures data integrity through careful review and correction of inconsistencies, contributing to high-quality diagnostic reporting. Success in this role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to compliance and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

· Accurately enter patient demographics and specimen data into the LIS.

· Review data for completeness, consistency, and accuracy; resolving discrepancies as needed.

· Support quality assurance efforts by adhering to established protocols and documenting errors or corrections.

· Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth data flow and compliance with regulatory standards.

· Participate in ongoing training and process improvement initiatives related to data entry and lab operations.

· Maintain strong communication with lab personnel and commercial teams to support high-quality patient care.

· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience:

· High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required

· Prior experience in a healthcare or laboratory setting, with knowledge of medical terminology preferred

· Familiarity with data entry processes and basic computer systems (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

· Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving workflows and systems
